What is it?
CHRYSALIS is three days of singing, learning, laughing, worshiping, reflecting, praying and participating in small groups. Discussions center around fourteen talks given by youth, adult laity, and clergy. These "talks" (devotions) present the themes of God’s love, how that love comes alive in the Christian community and how it is expressed throughout the world. You’ll also discover how God's love is real in your life and how you share that love with others.
You will have the opportunity to participate in the daily celebration of Holy Communion and to understand more fully the body of Christ. You will experience God’s grace through the prayers and acts of anonymous service offered by the Chrysalis community. You will leave with an experience of Christian love in action that will equip you for new levels of grace-filled service and leadership.

To attend Chrysalis, a participant must find a sponsor. This is typically someone who has participated in an Upper Room weekend such as Chrysalis or Emmaus before. If you are a parent who is sponsoring a young adult, feel free to contact us with any questions. The role of a sponsor does not necessarily have to be financial, but will include many tasks to prepare for the weekend. For any and all questions regarding sponsorship, email us. Fly with Christ!
